I was raised never to be afraid of anything. My father was a journalist and we lived in Israel and other really interesting places. I remember my father coming home all bloody and it was just a part of my life style. I was never afraid. With everything that is going on in Paris– I wish I was there. Obviously, the attacks are tragic but it seems like such an interesting time to be there. A lot of people are saying why say “Je suis Charlie” but never anything else regarding what happens in Congo and all the deaths in other places. My view is this is not just a terrorist attack but people trying to prevent people from having the right of freedom of speech and that is unacceptable.
Today, I turn 22 and all I wish I could do today is march in Paris with the 1 million other people today. My heart is heavy for everything that has happened as a human being but also, a french woman.
